First Contact

So, I feel pretty awesome about the fact that my (almost) 3-year-old is completely unfamiliar with lollipops. And Tootsie Rolls.

Colson: "What's that thing on a stick? Is it a treat? Is it candy?"

Mom: "Yes, it's candy. It's a lollipop."

C: "Can I eat the yoweepop?"

I give her the lollipop and after a moment of studying, Colson says...

"Is it a....space ting??"

After the appropriate number of licks, she got to the center of her Tootsie Pop and marveled: 

"Oooh. It's getting chocolatey and gooey!"

Yum. :)

Sweethearts

Even tho I don't really dig Valentine's Day, it's hard not to get caught up in all the love going around. So as a Valentine post, here's my two little loves. Loving each other. 

Let's keep it going all year round. :) 

Ingestion

Dad: "What happens in your dreams?"
Colson: "They're gone! They're all gone! Fly ate my dreams!"

This is really only funny if you know Fly, our fat kitty. So fat, in fact, that she will eat your dreams.

Geometry Lessons

Mom: "Okay, girls. It's time for me to whip this house into shape! Know what that means!?"
Colson: "A triangle???"
